Greetings all! We've done a lot of ocean miles (over 5000 NM) since we left South Africa in mid-December. I'll be posting our blog entries SOON about our time in South Africa, Namibia, St. Helena, Ascension, Fernando de Noronha, Brazil and now we are in French Guiana enjoying some baguettes and brie!
Meanwhile, on January 21st, we crossed the equator for the 4th time on this world circumnavigation! King Neptune made his usual appearance to initiate our one Slimy Polliwog to the ranks of Trusty Shellback. We also poured a dollop of rum over the transom for continued safe passage. It is great to be back in our home quadrant of earth and on our homeward bound legs.
There are still some berths available so if you have been thinking about joining Elcie for a leg, wait no more! I can be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org anytime if you have questions.
